d-basics is a Windows application that can be installed on a regular workstation. It is also possible to install the program on a terminal server.
Security
When d-basics copies information from the database of an accounting package, information is only read. Since d-basics does not add or change any information, the proper functioning of the accounting package cannot be compromised.
Encryption
If d-basics is used to send information to financial institutions (Creditline), all information is encrypted before it is transmitted. This to prevent unauthorized access to information.
License
A valid license key is required to use d-basics. This license key is time limited and only activates those modules one has subscribed to.
Demo license
The d-basics software contains an embedded demo license. This license is for test purposes and activates a number of modules to provide an understanding of how d-basics works. The demo license does not offer the possibility to import information from the database of an accounting package.
Test license
Companies can request a test license that is adjusted to their needs. This license only activates the required modules including the import module for the accounting package used by that company.
